Automation Engineer – Engineer II(Only w2) Phoenix AZ(Hybrid - Need Locals) Minimum 12+ Years of Experience required.
JD: Designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade test automation solutions and frameworks, primarily leveraging Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and API automation to improve test coverage, accelerate validation, reduce manual testing effort, and enable reliable software delivery.
Responsibilities: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright. Strong programming experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Experience designing and developing Playwright automation frameworks from the ground up. Strong experience with UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing. Strong understanding of Playwright capabilities, including locators, fixtures, assertions, hooks, browser contexts, network interception, tracing, and parallel execution. Experience with REST API testing and API automation. Experience with Node.js and NPM.Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Experience integrating Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with cross-browser and parallel test execution. Experience with test reporting, logging, debugging, and failure analysis. Working knowledge of SQL and database validation. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Quality Engineering practices. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Ability to develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation code aligned with enterprise engineering standards.
