About the role
CNC Lathe Machinist We are hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist for a full-time, 1st shift position in Loves Park, IL. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for program, set-up and operating Multi Axis CNC Lathes using Mazatrol controls. Responsibilities of the CNC Lathe Machinist: Program, set-up, and operator CNC Lathes and produce quality parts. Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, and interpreting (GD &T).Write or download and edit programs by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensational and conditional switches. Set up lathes by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, brushes and stops. Can verify settings by measuring position, first run part and sample work pieces; perform buddy checks.
CNC Lathe Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:
3 years' experience as a qualified CNC Machinist.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to set up and operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
Ability to program and/or download and edit existing programs.
Maintain quality and safety standards.
Ability to read precision measuring tools.
Strong work ethic.
Basic measuring skills.
Pay for CNC Lathe Machinist: $26.00$25.00/hour.
