Job Description:
Job Title: Mixer Operator 2nd Location: Elkhart, IN Pay: $18.50/hr Hours: 2PM to 10PM Position Type: Full-Time / Entry-Level Position Summary: The Mixer Operator 2nd assists in operating mixing equipment to produce high-quality adhesive products safely and efficiently. This entry-level role involves learning safety protocols, following batch specifications, and supporting overall production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in batch-making: read batch sheets, gather materials, weigh/load into mixers, operate equipment, and communicate with the lab to ensure specifications are met. Inspect and maintain mixers and equipment; clean work areas and tools. Follow safety procedures and wear assigned PPE. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to read batch sheets and product specifications Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation Forklift operation experience or willingness to become certified Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Team player with good communication skills Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
