About the role

Build High-End Houston Landscapes as a Landscape Installation Crew MemberStrong Landscaping designs and builds some of Houston's finest residential outdoor spaces, and our clients expect detail-level craftsmanship on every project. As an Installation Crew Member, you'll work on a skilled team building patios, walkways, planting beds, turf, and irrigation systems. It's a great fit for someone with installation experience who takes pride in precision work, or a hard worker ready to learn the trade and grow into a leadership role.

What You Will Do: Install plant material, including trees, shrubs, perennials, seasonal color, and sod, with proper bed prep, soil amendment, and mulching. Help build hardscapes, including dryset paver patios and walkways, paver overlays, gravel areas, edging, and base preparation. Assist with synthetic turf installation, drainage solutions, and irrigation installs and repairs. Help build decks, planter boxes, trellises, and other custom outdoor structures. Dig, haul, grade, and compact materials to prepare each site. Follow your crew leader's direction and the project plan to deliver high-end results: level surfaces, clean cuts, and straight lines. Leave every job site clean and organized at the end of the day. Keep tools and equipment clean and well maintained. Work professionally and courteously around homeowners and their property.

What You Will Bring: 1+ year of landscape installation or construction experience preferred; motivated beginners are welcome to apply. A sharp eye for detail and pride in a polished finished product. Ability to take accurate measurements and follow instructions. Comfort using hand and power tools safely. A strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and the ability to perform physical outdoor work all day in Houston weather. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice to Have: Paver, hardscape, or base preparation experience. Experience with plate compactors, saws, sod cutters, or skid steers. Irrigation, synthetic turf, carpentry, or drainage experience. Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish.

Pay and Benefits: $17 to $19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Health Savings Account and medical flexible spending account options. Holiday pay and short-term and long-term disability coverage.
