About the role
The Easterseals Southwest Human Development 12th Annual Golf Tournament is November 13, and we would love for you to join us for a fun and meaningful day on the green! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the day a memorable experience for our golfers while supporting our biggest fundraiser of the year. Volunteers will help fill a variety of important roles to keep our golfers welcomed, happy, and informed throughout the event. The tournament will be held at Camelback Golf Club (7847 N Mockingbird Ln, Scottsdale, AZ 85253), with an 8:30 a.m. scramble start and an awards luncheon concluding the event at approximately 1:30 p.m. This annual event is our largest fundraiser of the year, helping create positive futures for children ages birth–5, with the majority of funds supporting our disability programs and services. By volunteering your time, you are helping make this important work possible and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Volunteer shifts begin at 6:00 a.m., and we plan to wrap up the day by 3:00 p.m. Specific duties will be assigned prior to the event but may include registration, event setup and breakdown, golf cart attendant, greeters, and snack patrol. Whether you're welcoming golfers, lending a helping hand, or keeping everyone fueled throughout the day, your support will help make the tournament a success! Volunteers should be at least 16 years old. Volunteers ages 12–16 are welcome to join with a capable adult. All volunteers will need to attend orientation on November 3rd. Further details will be sent after you register. If you have any questions, please reach out to Tay Wright at twright@swhd.org. We can't wait to have you join us!
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
