About the role
Overview
As Senior Marketing Manager of Lifecycle Marketing Strategy, you will shape end-to-end customer journeys across segments to drive engagement, retention, and growth. You’ll translate data-driven insights into tailored comms and tests, collaborating across teams to align with business goals. You’ll design and optimize journeys and campaigns across channels, with a focus on measurable improvements and impact. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on creative development to elevate the customer experience at Gerber Life.
Responsibilities Develop and articulate comprehensive lifecycle strategies across segments (engagement, retention, loyalty, advocacy).Base communication plans on data insights and market research to resonate with target audiences. Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategies with business goals and with creative, analytics, and operations teams. Manage multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, direct mail, owned channels) and map customer journeys to identify optimization opportunities. Oversee campaign execution with Marketing Operations to ensure timely, accurate delivery. Lead a rigorous test-and-learn approach with A/B testing to optimize performance. Partner with analytics and audience teams to segment customers by characteristics and behaviors, and define segment KPIs. Drive messaging and creative development via briefs, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines across touchpoints.
Key requirements 7–10 years of experience in Marketing Strategy and Lifecycle Marketing in a leadership role Experience leading and developing at least one direct report 5 years of experience in Insurance or Financial Services Knowledge of marketing automation/CRM systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, Marketo, Hubspot Strong test-and-learn and A/B testing capabilities Excellent program management and ability to manage multiple programs Solid understanding of digital channels, attribution, and audience measurement Creative mindset with ability to execute bold ideas and drive results Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and marketing analytics platforms Experience with Cognos is a plus Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications is a plus Strong problem-solving abilities Attention to detail Cross-functional collaboration Marketing automation/CRM (Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot)Cognos Power BI, Tableau
