Delivery Ops - Print Production Level 3 Golden Valley MN (Onsite) 12 Months Contract 7:00AM - 3:30 PM CSTEssential Functions:Operate digital and color equipmentPossesses skills and competencies to deliver contracted customer requirementsTasks and activities are defined and routineAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsPoint of contact to receive, review and electronically log customer jobsOperate standard finishing equipment (e.g. paper cutters, inserters, laminating, and hole punchers)Operate office/production equipment (printer, copier, fax, scan)Apply asset tags to office equipment and update databaseTrack and coordinate the move, add or change of office equipment assets at customer accountsClean and maintain office equipment when necessaryProcess and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes, log for billing purposesProcess basic forms and update information using a PCCollect and submit meter readsProblem solve issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirementsPerform quality inspection before, during and after output of each production runSort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for use in printed documents or digital format; specific application training may be required and providedCollect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues by contacting service personnel using specific PC applicationsOperate high volume printers and copiersEstimate, schedule and track incoming production jobsOptimize document design for quality and reproductionTrack and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date, including file back-upInspect files for problem areas, including fonts, image resolution and image registrationIndex electronic materials to media such as CDROM, disk or tape, for reproduction and distributionIntegrate variable data files into printed format using templates providedOperate high volume folding and inserting mail equipmentFile/document conversion (utilizing standard software)Perform operator maintenance on equipmentMaintain reporting logs and information for billingPerform minimal training to customer end-users on equipmentEngage services from Client and/or non-Client third party vendors to support purchase of customer supplies and services as requiredMay develop work processes or templatesSkills:Able to demonstrate computer skillsFunctional knowledge of PC (keyboard functions, mouse, etc.)Able to demonstrate Intermediate use of: MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web, Internet, and IntranetCreate spreadsheetsUse standard formulasSort, filter, and create graphsImport/export informationEmbed files into applicationsMove data between Word and ExcelAble to demonstrate ability to use / locate devices (drives, files, printers) attached to networkAble to demonstrate ability to send and receive emails, find, open and save documents and files, perform data entryAble to demonstrate ability to use internet explorer for web browsing, send documents to preconfigured printerAble to demonstrate basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)Able to demonstrate business maturity and professionalismAble to demonstrate ability to coach and mentor co-workersExperience:Experience in a Customer Service environment (minimum 1 year)Education:Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired: Post high school technology training or experienceEducation Verification:Yes Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
