About the role
To support innovative product development, the contract Product Design Engineer will explore and prototype user experiences, carry features through to production, and collaborate with software engineers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
Explore and prototype to identify effective design solutions for user experiences
Carry features through to the production front-end, integrating design and code seamlessly
Engage with users and collaborate with the product squad to frame and shape the scope of what to build
Required qualifications
Experience in designing and shipping front-end solutions to production
Strong design judgment and taste, particularly in distinguishing quality interfaces
Ability to validate designs with real users and make informed decisions on scope
Fluency in modern web coding practices, including familiarity with AI tooling
Experience designing data-rich interfaces for professional users, particularly in insurance
