Position Overview: We are seeking a Laboratory Technician with hands-on HPLC experience to support analytical testing and laboratory operations within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This position will perform HPLC analyses, prepare samples and solutions, support stability studies, troubleshoot routine instrument issues, and maintain accurate GMP-compliant documentation. The ideal candidate has experience independently operating HPLC instrumentation and is comfortable working within a GMP or GLP laboratory.
Responsibilities: Perform HPLC analyses on stability and project samples, including sequence setup, injections, and data processing. Troubleshoot routine HPLC issues, including pressure problems, leaks, baseline noise, carryover, and system suitability failures. Prepare laboratory samples, standards, reagents, and mobile phases. Support accelerated and ICH stability studies, including scheduled sample pulls from controlled stability chambers. Assist with packaging and container-closure shelf-life studies. Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready laboratory documentation in accordance with GMP requirements. Follow established SOPs, laboratory procedures, and data integrity requirements. Assist with instrument maintenance, calibration, and general laboratory operations. Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.
Qualifications: Hands-on experience operating HPLC instrumentation required. Experience with basic HPLC troubleshooting strongly preferred. Working knowledge of a chromatography data system such as Empower, Chromeleon, OpenLab, or a comparable platform. Previous experience working within a GMP or GLP-regulated laboratory environment. Knowledge of proper laboratory documentation and data integrity practices. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline preferred; equivalent hands-on laboratory experience will also be considered. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to follow established analytical methods, SOPs, and laboratory procedures. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
