What we're looking for:
Experience as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Sous Chef in a quality American kitchen- Great attitude, strong leadership, and the ability to inspire a team- Local or nearby residency in the Riverside area preferred- Strong track record of food safety, quality, and consistency- Ability to manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships- Excellent communication and a hands-on leadership style- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and mentor a diverse team- Spanish bilingual is a huge plus
Key responsibilities:
Lead daily kitchen operations: prep, line, cooking, plating, quality control- Manage schedules, staffing, training, and performance feedback- Oversee food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance- Develop and execute menus in collaboration with Executive Chef/ownership- Monitor costs, waste, and inventory; optimize ordering and vendor partnerships- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure guest satisfaction- Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and flavors- Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff; foster a positive, inclusive culture Ideal candidate traits- Strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability- Positive, solutions-focused attitude- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction- Team player who leads by example- Bilingual Spanish highly valued; clear communication with staff and guests is a plus
