Our work is supported by tech-enabled, AI-informed tools that enhance depth, speed, and decision-making Role of an Analyst We are hiring across the firm and are targeting this hire to join either our Consumer or Industrials team. Joining the Channel Dynamics team means stepping into an entrepreneurial role where you can help scale a highly successful, market-leading research franchise. This is a true apprenticeship model: you will work directly with senior research leadership, gaining hands‑on exposure to expert calls, client engagement, go‑to‑market strategy, sales, and end‑to‑end research execution. Channel Dynamics analysts map complex business models and supply chains, while developing deep expertise across the sectors they cover. Depending on team placement, coverage may include subsectors across Consumer and/or Industrials, including consumer products and services, building products, freight and transportation, machinery and equipment, materials, and other cyclical industries. On a daily basis, you will speak with private-company executives, operators, and industry specialists to uncover KPI trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging sector themes. You’ll turn these insights into clear, actionable research that helps top institutional investors identify inflection points and high‑conviction ideas across the Industrials or consumer landscapes. The team collaborates closely with leading long/short equity hedge funds, supported by tech-enabled and AI‑assisted tools that enhance speed, depth, and analytical rigor. In addition to report writing, you will: Manage relationships with existing clients and contribute to business development efforts. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver reports on time and in alignment with sector‑wide publishing schedules. Participate in refining our coverage process, including onboarding, compliance structure, and sector cadence. Recruit new experts to bolster our current and new reports. Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $135,000. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and job‑related qualifications.
