School PsychologistJob Summary: This is a School Psychologist for the District.
Qualifications: Holds a New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with a School Psychologist Endorsement. Holds a 60-credit combined Master's Degree and Professional Diploma or equivalent earned from an approved School Psychologist program. Demonstrates ability to effectively provide psychological evaluations, psychosocial assessments, counseling services and student mental health consultative services.
Responsibilities: Serves as a member of the Child Study Team and performs all responsibilities in accordance with NJ Special Education Administrative code, and Board policies/regulations. Develops with other Child Study Team members, teachers, and parents, an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each identified student. Serves as a case manager for students referred and classified as Eligible for Special Education following NJ Department of Ed guidelines. In this role as a case manager, coordinates and serves as a facilitator for all special education mandated meetings. Salary Range REA Salary Guide BA Step 1: $57,828- MA+30 Step OG1: $104,576.
