Key Responsibilities:
Manage shipping and receiving, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages.
Maintain a tidy and professional shop and entryway environment.
Coordinate the shipment of materials between DoorDash offices and labs.
Support facilities coordination, including furniture assembly and safe disposal of hazardous materials.
Serve as the main point of contact with facilities management to resolve operational issues swiftly.
Assist the Concept Engineering team with operational projects to enhance workspace efficiency.
Requirements:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams and vendors.
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel within the Bay Area. Preferences:
- Experience in shipping/receiving or facilities operations.
- Familiarity with the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Hands-on skills for light assembly and shop support tasks.
