Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner/Product Manager with strong P&C Insurance domain expertise to lead digital product initiatives and serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Agile product delivery, product strategy, requirements gathering, backlog management, and insurance workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
Own and prioritize the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Translate complex P&C insurance requirements into actionable product requirements.
Lead discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder discussions.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, UX, and business teams.
Support UAT, product demonstrations, releases, adoption, and continuous product improvement.
Manage stakeholder expectations, dependencies, risks, and product priorities.
Required Skills:
7+ years of Product Owner/Product Manager or similar experience.
Strong P&C Insurance experience is mandatory.
Knowledge of policy administration, underwriting, claims, endorsements, renewals, premiums, billing, and client servicing.
Strong Agile/Scrum and backlog management experience.
Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Understanding of APIs, integrations, data mapping, and data flows.
Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
Preferred:
Commercial Insurance/Brokerage experience, Salesforce, Sagitta, SQL, AI tools, and relevant Product/Agile/Scrum certifications.
