About the role
ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support a contract inEl Paso, TX. Thisonsiterole focuses on building and operating data-driven software and implementing AI/ML models in aCommand and Control (C2)environment, with expectations around development, testing, monitoring, and analysis of machine learning outputs. Candidates must hold an appropriate clearance level to be considered.
What you’ll doDevelop and maintaindata-driven software solutionsthat address business needs
Build, test, and deployAI/ML models and toolsto improve business processes
Keep pace withAI/ML industry trendsto identify technical resources for developing and enhancing efficient data systems
Support implementation, testing, and monitoring ofdata processing pipelinesand AI/ML learning products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Analyze and interpret data to derive insights usingC2 and AI/ML tools
Maintaindata quality and integrityfrom development through execution
Complete additional tasks that align with the general framework of Data Engineering and Data Science qualifications as they arise
Required qualifications:
Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher ; candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered
Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree desired). Additional related work experience may be used in place of a degree
3+ yearsof experience developing software
2+ yearsof experience developing and implementing AI models using machine learning algorithms
Familiarity withPalantir software, includingPalantir Gotham , Palantir Foundry, andPalantir Metropolis
Strong programming skills inJava , Python, andC++
Proven experience inPalantir software developmentandArtificial Intelligence
Experience designing and implementingMachine Learning infrastructureto train and deploylarge language models
Knowledge ofAgilesoftware development usingScrum
Familiarity withdata structures , storage systems , cloud infrastructure , front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
Proficiency with one or moremajor deep learning frameworks
