About the role

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications. Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures. Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and Dev Ops engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in system design, technical discussions, and code reviews. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop secure and reusable backend components and services. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Implement best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Mentor junior developers and support team growth. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in: Java 8/11/17+Spring Boot Spring MVCSpring Security Hibernate / JPAExpertise in: Microservices architectureRESTful API development Multithreading and concurrency Design patterns and OOP concepts Experience with: SQL and NoSQL databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle Messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQGood understanding of: Docker & KubernetesCI/CD pipelines Git, Maven, Gradle Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)Cloud exposure: AWS / Azure / GCPFamiliarity with: Agile/Scrum methodologies Sonar Qube, Jenkins, NexusAPI Gateway and service discovery tools
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.8+ years of experience in Java backend development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
