About the role

Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Hospital Board Governance will provide strategic guidance on growth, market opportunities, and partnerships in a remote capacity while supporting healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship. Key responsibilities Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy Contribute leadership insight across areas such as clinical care, healthcare operations, digital health, and biotech Required qualifications Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, or related fields Preferred senior leadership, board, advisory, or entrepreneurial experience Strong professional network within healthcare and innovation ecosystems Ability to provide strategic, practical, and mission-aligned guidance Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month for board participation and advisory activities
