- What This Remote Job Looks Like
- Working from home eliminates the commute, but this is still a structured contact center environment. You will need to:
- Be at your workstation and ready to take calls throughout your scheduled shift
- Handle a steady volume of calls, including back-to-back calls during busy periods
- Work at a computer and use a phone/headset for most of the day
- Maintain reliable attendance and return from scheduled breaks on time
- Have a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable high-speed internet
- Give your full attention to the job and not provide care for others during work hours
- Must reside in Lexington within the Kentucky hiring area
- At least 1 year of customer service-related experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependability and punctuality
- Good organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize
- Comfortable learning new software, procedures, and terminology
- Basic proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet navigation
- Ability to successfully complete computer skills testing, training evaluations, and the trial service period
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
