The firm is founded and led by two CEO's who together have advised some of the world’s most prominent CEOs and Founders across industries and through a variety of situations. Their relationships with corporate executives and top-tier media platforms have helped clients build their reputations, emerge from crises, and strengthen their platforms. The company is headquartered in New York City with the majority of our team working from the New York office at least 3 days a week.

About the Role: The company is growing rapidly and seeking a successful communications strategist to join the firm as an Associate. In this position, the individual will be principally responsible for working on client engagements that have strategic communications, media relations and/or crisis components. The individual will be responsible for team coordination as well as the successful and timely delivery of client deliverables. The position will also work closely with the leadership team of the firm to help source new business opportunities and grow existing client mandates. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Preferred Experience & Attributes 2 - 4 years of supporting teams who are delivering high quality, client-facing projects, including management consulting or senior leadership within client-facing companies or organizations. Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to break down a complex issue into manageable and clear decision points. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Commitment to excellence, continuous learning, hunger for knowledge and willingness to ask questions and self-correct. Openness to giving and receiving direct, compassionate feedback, along with effective coaching and mentoring skills to build outstanding teams. A strong comfort level in environments of ambiguity. Key responsibilities of this position include:
Client Services: Interest in/passion for client service, new ways of thinking and teamwork. Relevant experience in communications preferred, but not required. Ability to conduct thoughtful research and present results in a succinct way. Experience with digital/social platforms. Reliable and responsive with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute. Rigorous attention to detail. An appreciation for the importance of managing deadlines and proactively communicating about progress against them. An interest in supporting client engagements, being the individual on the team who is accountable to both the client(s) as well as the internal team. An ability to provide counsel on all matters of communications, including media relations, narrative development, and crisis. Ability to help develop the right pitch materials for any meetings. Ability to media monitor and understand the media landscape.
