Job Description:
Join Our Receiving Team in Colonial Heights, VAStep into a key role on our fast-moving warehouse team as an Inbound Dock Receiving Associate. You’ll help ensure products arrive, get verified, are sorted correctly, and are placed where they belong—keeping operations running smoothly and customers happy. A Day in This RoleReview the inbound schedule and prepare the dock for arriving trailers. Unload shipments safely—by hand, pallet jack, or forklift—and confirm counts against packing lists. Sort, stage, and label items for storage or next steps. Place products in designated locations and assist with restocking as needed. Keep aisles and work areas clean and hazard-free to maintain safety and efficiency. Team up with peers to hit daily unloading and processing goals. Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor without delay.
Core Responsibilities:
Unload inbound freight and verify contents against packing documentation.
Organize and stage products for easy access and storage.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area to support safety and productivity.
Assist with inventory tasks and stock replenishment when required.
Collaborate to meet or exceed daily throughput goals.
Identify and promptly report damages, shortages, or count issues.
What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and performing active, physical work.
Knowledge of general warehouse safety practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends if needed.
