Job TitleDirector Location: US Southeast Type: Full-Time, Direct-HireJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Provide leadership to AMBE's consulting business unit, working with the consultants and all business departments to develop solutions which strategically grow and improve the business by implementing these solutions in on-going projects. Manage engagement of high-value clients to ensure satisfaction while collaborating with Management to drive revenue and profitability targets.This will be a combination of working with and through the engagement directors, working cohesively with the managing directors, and working hands-on with the consulting teams on the engagement, in person as well as virtually. Provide thought leadership to ensure the proper execution of resource planning, recruitment, consultant training, development, and community building to support consulting activities. Initiate coverage or complement existing business development team's clients. Helping maintain the account as well as extend engagements and the willingness to take lead on engagements as necessary.Key Responsibilities:Utilize technical and business assessment capabilities to conduct assessments, define the issues, drive innovative ideas, and recommend actionable solutions with well-developed statements of work for clients. Provide conceptual and strategic support in the early stages of projects, support the implementation of the recommended changes, and oversee the full life cycle execution of the projects in concert with Managing Directors and AMBE stakeholders.Identify recurring client needs of strategic importance and assist in developing and implementing new use cases (i.e., "cross sell" AMBE's capabilities) and associated process scenarios for monetization and use in on-going projects. Determine ways to provide high-value clients consultancy services that go beyond the normal expectations with a view of enhancing satisfaction and enabling improved and restructured revenue generation and profitability as well as program management.Help bring rigor to projects' decision-making processes via cost/benefit analysis, evaluating and presenting solutions, and driving consensus where necessary among key stakeholders.Work with business development and operational executives and stakeholders in making strategic departmental decisions as well as in sharing relevant best practice and trends to improve overall organizational performance. Accelerate AMBE's drive toward asset-based consulting, including the development, refinement, and institutionalization of reusable IP assets, including templates, best practices, data, and software.Requirements Executive Skills: be comfortable working with business senior executives and demonstrate an ability to stay calm and composed in times of uncertainty and stress, inspiring the same in the project team, client, and AMBE management. Leadership/People Skills: demonstrate an ability to inspire and move a cross-functional group as well as an ability to influence senior management. Inspire trust in clients, consultant team members, and senior management. Intrinsic: identify and implement solutions aligned with AMBE's long-term strategic plan that increase enterprise value and continue to enhance the brand.
