About the role
Step into a hands-on IT Operations Specialist role supporting a fast-paced Technical Operations environment in Scottsdale, Arizona. This onsite opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys documenting complex workflows, improving operational processes, and collaborating across technical teams in a mission-critical setting.
Please note: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ | 5 days in office: Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM; at least one weekend day included
Responsibilities
Observe live operational workflows and document system dependencies, interactions, and process steps.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve technical operations.
Partner with cross-functional teams such as Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering to support smoother workflows.
Create clear, accurate process documentation and share practical improvement recommendations.
Communicate technical findings in a way that is useful for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support real-time operations in a secure, onsite environment with a focus on reliability and continuity.
Skills
Strong technical documentation and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows workstation support, real-time operations or command-center environments, TCP/IP networking or systems administration, and web application or infrastructure troubleshooting.
Ability to work onsite five days per week in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Background check and drug screen required upon offer.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a NOC, SOC, or similar 24x7 operations center.
Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms.
Experience collaborating with DevOps or Infrastructure teams.
Seven or more years of relevant technical experience.
