About the role

GLD has been selling on Amazon for years and we view Amazon as possessing a massive opportunity for growth! We believe our account is prime for an expert to come in and take over to scale it to its full potential. We are looking for a seasoned expert who knows how to profitably scale Amazon Ads and understands its full lifecycle.Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks. This is not a manage-the-agency-and-review-slides job. You will be in the console every day making strategic and impactful changes. You will sit with the owners of Meta, Google, and TikTok under the Director of Growth Marketing. What You'll OwnFull management of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display: campaign architecture, keyword and ASIN targeting, negatives, bids, budgets, and dayparting.Account restructure and hygiene: audit the existing campaign structure, kill waste, consolidate where match types and targets overlap, and build a structure that isolates branded vs non-branded performance.Profitability management to TACOS and ACOS targets by product line, with budget pacing decisions made weekly and defended in writing.Search term and competitive intelligence: mine Search Query Performance and search term reports, track share of voice on priority terms, and monitor competitor ASIN conquesting in both directions.Creative and content inputs to ad efficiency: brief Sponsored Brands video and Brand Store updates into the creative team, and flag listing, A+ content, review, and pricing issues that suppress conversion before they suppress ad performance.Promotional calendar execution: Prime Day, Q4, gifting windows, and NFL season moments, planned in advance with budgets and deal support locked before the event, not during it.Reporting and rollups: weekly channel readout in the growth team's standard format, with spend, sales, TACOS, and forward actions stated as decisions, not narration.Cross-channel coordination: work with the owners of Meta, Google, and TikTok to account for DTC halo onto Amazon and to keep branded search strategy coherent across Google and Amazon.Amazon DSP: assess whether DSP earns a place in the mix, and if it does, own the rollout and hold it to the same profitability bar as sponsored ads.Testing: run a protected test budget against new ad formats, betas, and targeting options, with a written read on each test before spend scales. What Success Looks LikeFirst 30 days: full account audit delivered, with a restructure plan, a waste estimate, and a branded vs non-branded baseline.First 90 days: restructure executed, TACOS targets set by product line and agreed with the Director of Growth Marketing, reporting cadence running without prompting.Ongoing: non-branded revenue growing, branded spend held to a defensible capture rate, and no surprises reaching leadership that you did not flag first.Who You Are3+ years hands-on managing Amazon Ads accounts at meaningful spend, in-house or agency, with at least one account you inherited rather than launched.Fluent in the Amazon Ads console, bulk operations, and search term reports. DSP experience is a plus, as is Amazon Marketing Cloud or a third-party bid tool.Comfortable in Excel or Sheets. Pivot tables, lookups, and building a performance report from raw exports without help. You think in contribution margin, not just ROAS. You can explain why a 4x branded campaign might be worth less than a 1.8x non-branded one.You understand the retail side well enough to know when the problem is the listing, the price, the review count, or inventory, and not the ad.You write tight, decision-oriented updates. You state assumptions as assumptions and you do not bury bad news.Experience in DTC consumer products, jewelry, fashion, or accessories is a plus. Experience balancing Amazon against an owned DTC site is a strong plus.DetailsCompensation: $90,000 per year.Location: Remote.Reports to the Director of Growth Marketing. xevrcyc Works alongside channel owners for Meta, Google, TikTok, and affiliate.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
