You must have a VALID Maryland security guard license. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The following shifts are available:
Days:
Saturday and Sunday Hours: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, 11:00 PM-7:00 AMDSI is growing—again! As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Essential Job Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings
