The strategy provides flexible capital solutions to infrastructure businesses and assets across energy and power, renewables and energy transition, digital infrastructure, transportation and other essential infrastructure sectors. The team evaluates opportunities across the credit spectrum and capital structure, including senior secured, subordinated, holdco and structured debt investments. The Associate will be an integral member of a highly experienced investment team and will have significant responsibility throughout the investment process, from initial opportunity assessment and underwriting through structuring, execution and portfolio management. The role offers exposure to large-scale, complex and highly structured infrastructure transactions, working directly with senior investment professionals, private equity and infrastructure sponsors, management teams and external advisers.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and underwrite new infrastructure credit investment opportunities across a range of sectors, transaction structures and risk profiles. Perform detailed fundamental and credit analysis, with particular emphasis on cash-flow durability, leverage, debt service capacity, downside protection, asset value and recovery. Develop sophisticated financial models incorporating operating assumptions, capital structures, debt sizing, cash-flow waterfalls, covenant analysis, sensitivities and downside scenarios. Assess opportunities across the capital structure, including senior secured debt, junior and subordinated debt, holdco financing and other structured capital solutions. Analyze contractual arrangements, regulatory frameworks, commodity and merchant exposure, counterparty risk and other factors affecting infrastructure credit quality. Participate in all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, structuring, financing documentation, negotiations and closing. Prepare detailed investment committee materials articulating the investment thesis, relative value, key risks, downside cases, mitigants and expected risk-adjusted returns. Coordinate with sponsors, management teams, investment banks, consultants, legal counsel and other third-party advisers throughout the investment process. Monitor portfolio companies and assets, including financial performance, covenant compliance, operating developments, capital structure and evolving credit risk. Support the team's broader origination efforts and development of relationships with infrastructure sponsors, private equity firms, borrowers, banks and advisers. Conduct thematic and sector research to identify attractive opportunities across infrastructure and related real asset markets. The successful candidate will typically have 2–5 years of relevant transaction experience from a leading investment bank, private credit platform, infrastructure debt fund, alternative asset manager or other institutional investment platform. Candidates should demonstrate: Strong transaction experience within infrastructure, project finance, leveraged finance, private credit, structured finance or infrastructure investing. Excellent financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including the ability to independently evaluate complex capital structures and downside scenarios. Strong understanding of credit fundamentals, leverage, debt sizing, coverage ratios, covenants, security packages and recovery analysis. Experience analyzing infrastructure businesses or assets within sectors such as power, conventional and renewable energy, energy transition, utilities, digital infrastructure and transportation. Ability to evaluate investments from both an asset-level and corporate credit perspective. Strong commercial judgment and an ability to identify the key drivers of risk and return within complex transactions. Demonstrated transaction execution experience, ideally involving direct interaction with sponsors, management teams and advisers. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in a high-performance, transaction-oriented investment environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present investment conclusions clearly and concisely. Strong academic credentials and a bachelor's degree from a leading institution.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
