Job Description: Director for the Youth League for the 2026-2027 school year. Position is responsible for running the Youth Basketball League for Berea Community Schools. Certification RequirementPossession of certification as required by Kentucky law.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Kentucky driver's license. Certification Requirement Possession of certification as required by Kentucky law.

Condition of Employment: Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier. FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK AND A LETTER, PROVIDED BY THE INDIVIDUAL, FROM THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES STATING THE APPLICANT HAS NO ADMINISTRATIVE FINDINGS OF CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT FOUND THROUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT RECORDS MAINTAINED BY THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES. Duties will consist of: sign-ups collection of fees promoting sponsorship for teams developing league game and practice schedules assigning officials arranging for coaches concession and gate workers end of season awards depositing of money to school activity account all paperwork must follow ALL Redbook Guidelines
