About the role
Mechanical Apprentice Assist journeyman mechanic to remove, repair, install pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings or other related equipment. Learn to maintain and lubricate equipment using preventative maintenance techniques.* MUST HAVE OKLAHOMA WORKKEYS SCORES*
Responsibilities:
Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Reads and interprets blueprints, instructions, and other documentation for planned work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Remove, repair, install pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings or other related equipment. Maintain and lubricate equipment using preventative maintenance techniques. Maintain clean and orderly work site. Remove/Discard old parts/debris from work site after task completion. Completes required records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Participate in all required training Work in various areas of the facility as assigned Work alternate shifts as required Performs other duties as required Brown & Root Industrial Services is an equal opportunity employer.
