Overview: Location: Minneapolis, MN Support the operation and performance of utility-scale solar projects with a leading renewable energy contractor. GS2 is partnered with a high-growth solar and storage EPC in the search for a Solar Technician to join their expanding O&M team in Minnesota. This is a hands-on role, working directly on large-scale projects at the forefront of the clean energy transition. Base pay $45.00/hr Why Join? What You’ll Do as the Solar Technician Inspect, test, and maintain solar assets to ensure peak performance Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems Operate and update systems including inverters, relays, and SCADA Conduct site safety assessments and complete compliance documentation Support subcontractors and participate in on-call rotation for site issues
What You Bring: Electrical background (Electrician or Electrical Technician training) Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical aptitude Valid driver’s license Excellent written and verbal communication skills Employment type Full-time Seniority level Associate
