About the role
- A minimum of 1 years' experience with frozen sections, grossing, embedding, and cutting tissue for Mohs cases· Detail-oriented person· An excellent communicator, both verbally, and written· Presents themselves in a professional manner· Quick learner· Team player· Dependable with excellent attendance· Able to adapt to a high paced workflow based on demand· Works quickly, without compromising quality or safety· Pleasant and optimistic personality· Proficient at multitasking· Adapt to cutting different tissue sizes· Triage and prioritize multiple specimens coming into the lab at one time.· Independently cut and process 12 -14 Mohs cases with a 20 minute turnaround time from the time tissue is received to when the provider is reviewing under the microscope. Licensure/Certifications/Education Preferred HT (ASCP) or have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or have at least 60 semester hours in science from an accredited institution.
