About the role

I'm currently partnering with a leading investment and development organization on a Project Manager - Development & Construction opportunity. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction, real estate development, project management, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience managing ground-up construction, renovations, or complex development projects. Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field. Strong understanding of construction processes, project schedules, budgets, contracts, and project controls. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience working effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and ownership teams. Proficiency with project management and construction software; strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills. Ability to travel to project sites as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage development and construction projects from pre-development through completion. Oversee project schedules, budgets, consultants, contractors, and project deliverables. Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. Manage project documentation, approvals, scopes of work, change orders, and contracts. Monitor construction progress, quality, costs, and adherence to project schedules. Identify and proactively resolve project risks, issues, and potential delays. Support due diligence, feasibility analysis, design development, permitting, and procurement activities. Conduct site visits and coordinate construction meetings and progress reporting. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with established scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety expectations. Provide regular project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
