The Loss Prevention Officer plays a vital role in preventing theft and keeping the hotel guests, customers, and colleagues safe. This is a fast-paced position with customer-facing interaction that requires organization and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work at minimum a couple of times a month, and on weekends and holidays. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Conduct foot patrols throughout the property
Respond to medical emergencies on the premises
Assist customers, guests, and colleagues with any security related issues or questions
Monitor and review camera footage
Assist with security office duties - answer phones, dispatch calls, sign in visitors, and conduct bag checks
Perform all duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor and Security Director

Qualifications:

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

Must be able to work at minimum a couple of times a month, and on weekends and holidays. Preferred candidates will be able to work at least one combination of shifts. Options are as follows:mornings and eveningsevenings and overnightsovernights and mornings Proficient in basic computer skills Preferred candidates will have 1 year of previous hotel security experienceAED and CPR Certifications are a plus.
