Temporary to Hire - $20/HR - Rotating shift - Training on Days A Day In The LifeTypically Includes: Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing Prepare final products for shipping and distribution Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments Drive and meet quality standards Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, and high-volume environment Basic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED At least 1 year experience in related work environment with appropriate safety training and labor-based work history Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed Ability to read, write, and understand English language (to understand work instructions and to provide additional information during production) Basic math skills (i.e., ability to do simple counting operations) Ability to apply common sense understanding to oral and/or written instructions provided by the Production Supervisor Ability to work as a team member and independently with little direction. Ability to climb, push/pull 60 lbs. or more at a time, and move distances within or between manufacturing equipment and machinery Ability to work in an enclosed environment with loud noise, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust and debris, and hazardous materials Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment (packing suit, gloves, hard hat, steel toed/metatarsal boots, safety glasses and/or ear protection as required by task) Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions
Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years or more of manufacturing or production experience Experience operating mobile equipment, e.g.; forklifts, bobcats, cranes Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
