Seeking a Script Supervisor for "Reaper," an urban fantasy short film in the vein of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. A Reaper (soul guide) breaks the rules when he falls in love with a mortal woman, but his boss (Death) uses the woman's own creation to take her anyway. This is a self-funded, low-budget passion project serving as my UCLA Extension thesis film. We are seeking a meticulous and eagle-eyed Script Supervisor to join our team, acting as the crucial communication link between the director, camera department, and post-production editor. Experience I'm looking for an intermediate-to-advanced level. About MonkeyHats Productions Yelena Savranskaya is an independent filmmaker (producer/director/writer) who lives for those “quiet on set” moments where the real world fades, and movie magic begins. Specializing in sci‑fi and the supernatural, Yelena crafts worlds populated by bold, sassy protagonists who aren’t afraid to take up space.
