About the role

To support the development of structural engineering software for the wood construction community, a Colorado Licensed Structural Engineer will work hybrid on a contract basis, focusing on defining requirements, developing engineering functionality, and validating software through testing and documentation.
Key responsibilities: Assist in defining business and engineering requirements for new software functionality Develop and document structural engineering methodologies used within engineering software platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate engineering requirements and industry standards into software solutions
Required qualifications: Colorado Licensed Structural Engineer or actively pursuing licensure Experience with CAD software and engineering calculations Strong understanding of applicable building codes and engineering standards Ability to design and develop engineering functionality within software development toolsets Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote environment while managing multiple priorities
