Job Description:
An organization in the specialty infusion pharmacy space is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join their team in Rochester, NY. This individual will provide clinical pharmacy services, medication therapy oversight, sterile compounding support, and operational leadership to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and timely infusion therapies. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, home infusion or acute care experience, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This role is critical in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting patient care initiatives, and driving pharmacy operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.• Active Registered Pharmacist license in the State of New York.• Strong knowledge of intravenous admixture services and infusion therapy.• Ability to evaluate, monitor, and adjust drug therapies based on patient-specific clinical needs.• Experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.• Demonstrated ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and medication safety standards.• Consistent attendance history and demonstrated professional reliability.
