About the role
Senior Buyer / Senior Merchant (HOME)We are seeking a hands-on, product-focused Senior Buyer to lead assortment strategy, product development, and day-to-day account management across key retail partners in the Off-Price space for soft goods home products.
Responsibilities:
Identify market trends, competitive insights, and product opportunities. Partner with design, product development, and sourcing teams to create commercially relevant assortments. Build retailer-specific assortment strategies across product, pricing, materials, and trends. Evaluate existing product lines and make recommendations on what to strengthen, revise, or discontinue. Support major retailer meetings with product selection, assortment strategy, and presentation planning. Translate buyer feedback into actionable product development priorities. Monitor retail stores and online competitors to identify opportunities and white space. Ensure products meet cost, retail, quality, and perceived-value expectations. Oversee order management, including on-time shipping, sample timing, and production follow-up. Build and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts. Ideal Background Strong retail buying, merchandising, product development, and account-management experience. This role requires someone decisive, commercially minded, and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams. Experience supporting off-price retail accounts is highly preferred.
