Role Description: This is a full-time, local CDL A Truck Driver position based in Flagstaff, AZ. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, completing delivery documentation, and complying with all federal, state, and local regulations. The driver will interact professionally with customers and fellow employees, report any mechanical or safety issues, and coordinate with dispatch to manage routes, delays, and schedule changes. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company safety policies, and supporting efficient loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications: Valid CDL A license, with a clean driving record and demonstrated experience operating commercial vehicles. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe driving practices in varied weather and traffic conditions. Ability to perform vehicle inspections, basic troubleshooting, and proper load securement, including handling boxes and freight safely. Reliable time management and route planning skills, with the ability to follow schedules and adapt to changes as needed. Professional communication and customer service skills for interacting with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers. Physical ability to lift, move, and secure freight as required, and to work extended hours, some weekends, or holidays, on an as needed, basis. Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent; previous regional or local delivery experience is preferred. Drug free and non-smoking position.
