About the role
You will be the first person a fleet operator in the West Coast talks to at Mobility Places. You find the fleets that are opening markets or outgrowing their lots, learn how they operate, and bring them a parking plan they can sign. You work directly with our sourcing and setup team so what you sell is what we deliver.
What you will do:
Build and work a pipeline of fleet operators across California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona: AV, transit, delivery, rental, and service fleets.
Run discovery with ops and finance leaders to understand vehicle counts, markets, and timelines.
Scope parking requests with our sourcing team and present locations, pricing, and start dates.
Negotiate and close agreements, then hand off cleanly to setup and account management.
Represent Mobility Places at regional fleet and mobility events.
Report on pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback to leadership.
What we are looking for:
Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Business Development, including prospecting, closing complex deals, and expanding regional markets.
Experience in Sales Operations, with skills in pipeline management, forecasting, and optimizing sales processes and tools.
Strong Customer Service orientation, with a track record of building long-term client relationships and resolving customer issues effectively.
Based in the West Coast and able to travel within the region.
Relevant background in B2B or SaaS solutions, logistics, transportation, or fleet management is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
