Position Title: Content-Based Conversational AI Designer
Location: Remote in the US
Duration: 11-Month Contract - Potential to convert full-time.
Pay Rate: $55-$63/Hour
Job Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Content-Based Conversational Designer for a forward-thinking AI Customer Experience initiative. This individual will play a key role in shaping how customers interact with AI-powered systems by crafting engaging, intuitive, and on-brand conversational experiences. The ideal candidate brings a strong content and storytelling background paired with hands-on experience in conversational design, allowing them to build dialogue flows, refine AI-generated outputs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to influence next-generation customer interactions using cutting-edge AI tools while driving consistency, usability, and innovation across digital experiences. Day to Day:
  • Create conversational content including dialogue flows, prompts, and messaging
  • Design and document conversational workflows, user journeys, and interaction diagrams
  • Develop copy aligned with brand voice and customer experience standards
  • Collaborate with UX, product, design, and AI teams to translate requirements
  • Review and refine AI-generated content for clarity, accuracy, and usability
  • Use AI and design tools to prototype and improve conversational experiences
  • Contribute to governance, standards, and best practices for AI content
  • Present examples of conversational solutions and outcomes
Must Have Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience working on conversational AI, chatbots, virtual assistants, or similar conversational platforms
  • Background in content strategy, copywriting, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Strong writing skills with ability to maintain consistent voice and tone
  • Experience building conversational flows, workflows, or customer journey content
  • Proficiency with Claude and leveraging AI tools for content development
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, product, design, AI)
  • Portfolio showcasing conversational content, workflows, and delivered solutions
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Figma for visualizing conversational experiences
  • Experience using Canva or similar tools for concept communication
  • Understanding of UX and conversational design principles
  • Experience supporting customer-facing AI and digital experience initiatives
