About the role

Job Opportunity Melinio Transit is seeking Owner Operators and small business-minded transportation professionals in the Garland area who want to grow with a professional NEMT platform. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want more than a traditional driving job and are interested in building their own transportation business while serving the community. We are currently prioritizing candidates who live in Garland or within 30 minutes of our garage near 75093. Requirements include being 23 years of age or older, having an active LLC or being willing to form one within 45 days, having a valid Texas driver's license, having a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, having an acceptable motor vehicle record, being able to pass a background check and drug screen, and being comfortable assisting passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices. Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, caregiving, delivery, or professional driving is preferred. Benefits include weekly earnings potential of $1,250-$2,640+, based on awarded hours, route volume, availability, and operational readiness, opportunity to build and grow your own transportation business, access to route opportunities in the Dallas market, home daily, consistent work opportunities, training and onboarding support, and 24/7 operational support.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
