About the role

Overview: The Director of Commercial Strategy & Executive Operations serves as a strategic thought partner to the SVP of Commercial and is responsible for driving alignment, governance, and execution across the Commercial organization. This role leads executive-level reporting, steering committee governance, strategic initiative management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure Commercial priorities are executed effectively and communicated clearly across the Executive Leadership Team. This individual will work closely with Commercial leaders, Park Support Center functions, Operations, Finance, IT and have a dotted-line to the Chief Marketing Officer to accelerate decision making and maintain organizational focus on the highest-impact initiatives.
Responsibilities: Commercial Strategy & Initiative Leadership Partner with the SVP of Commercial to define, prioritize, and advance strategic initiatives across Revenue Management, Sales, New Acquisition, Visitation & Retention, In-Park Revenue, and other Commercial functions. Drive development of business cases, recommendations, and strategic analyses for executive decision making. Identify opportunities to improve revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and organizational effectiveness. Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform Commercial strategy. Steering Committee & Governance Management Lead planning, preparation, and execution of Commercial Steering Committee and Executive Leadership Team reviews. Establish governance processes, decision frameworks, and reporting cadences to support effective prioritization and accountability. Develop executive-ready materials including pre-reads, presentations, decision memos, and status updates. Ensure action items, decisions, and commitments are documented and tracked through completion.
Qualifications: Experience 7+ years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Revenue Management, Business Operations, Corporate Strategy, or Chief of Staff roles. Experience supporting senior executives and executive-level decision making. Proven track record managing complex cross-functional initiatives. Strong executive communication and presentation skills. Capabilities Strategic thinker with strong business acumen. Exceptional organizational and project leadership skills. Executive presence and ability to influence without direct authority. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear recommendations. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly visible environment with senior stakeholders.
