Architectural CAD Drafter - Multifamily

Job Responsibilities: Prepare and revise architectural drawings using AutoCAD Perform code research and zoning research Make revisions and adjustments to complete working drawing sets Assist with preparation and coordination of architectural construction documents Ensure construction details and documentation meet quality-control standards and best practices Participate in team meetings to help resolve project and technical issues Coordinate with Project Managers and team members to help maintain project schedules Contact municipal building departments and government officials regarding permits and project requirements Organize and maintain CAD files for multiple projects Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines Preferred Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Previous architectural drafting experience Experience preparing architectural construction documents Multifamily construction or architectural experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting Strong time-management and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment Education: A bachelor's degree in Architecture is preferred, or similar education or certification in architecture, drafting, construction, or building science. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree. Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
