About the role
Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer - Long Island, NYEstablished MEP engineering firm is seeking aSenior Mechanical HVAC Designerto join its growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, and building projects
- Develop mechanical plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Perform equipment selection, sizing, and system layouts
- Coordinate designs with other MEP disciplines and project teams
- Support projects from concept through construction
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of mechanical/HVAC design experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, butnot required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
