Service Advisor
Compensation: $100,000 base + 15% bonus target tied to retention, review completion, and referrals. We're hiring a Service Advisor on behalf of our client—a growing retirement planning and wealth management firm based in Las Vegas, NV.If you're the advisor clients ask for by name—and the one who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks—this is your seat. This firm delivers a Virtual Family Office experience across retirement, investments, tax, estate, and risk, and they're looking for a dedicated advisor to own the client relationship as they grow. Why this role?- Become the primary advisor for an established book of roughly 200–250 households- Deep planning work, not just check-ins—every review drives real action for clients- Strong support from portfolio, tax, and estate resources across the firm- A bonus that rewards what you do best: retention, follow-through, and referrals- A thoughtful 90-day onboarding alongside the founder before you take the full book
What you'll do: Prepare and deliver two progress meetings a year for each household—performance, plan updates, distributions, and tax-year planning- Execute planning across retirement, investments, tax, estate, and risk- Own the follow-through—Roth conversions, RMDs and QCDs, beneficiary updates, and tax items closed within 30 days- Onboard new clients from the sales team and serve as their go-to point of contact- Spot held-away assets, flag at-risk relationships early, and ask for introductions naturally
What you bring: CFP® preferred, or 4+ years in an advisory service role with comparable planning depth- Series 65 or 66 (or ability to obtain before start)- Strong knowledge of RMDs, QCDs, IRMAA, Roth conversions, and Social Security claiming- Exceptional follow-through and CRM discipline- Client-facing warmth that builds lasting trust- Planning software experience, a Nevada life and health license, or experience absorbing a founder's book is a plus Love building relationships that last?
