About the role
- Create and update the weekly Environmental Science staffing schedule through Salesforce CRM and ensure all logistical details are accurate and promptly communicated to staff.
- Manage scheduling requests from all Educators, in conjunction with their supervisor's approval.
- Partners with the Sales and Education Teams to meet program scheduling goals.
- Train Educators on program logistics and schedule management.
- Routes all paperwork to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Hire, supervise and train all Administrative Educator positions
- Is in person on campus(es) at least twice per week
- Prepares weekly reports for participant lodgings, meals, transportation and recreation by working closely with clients, NatureBridge staff and the Yosemite concessionaire to ensure accuracy.
- Ensures smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating, and supporting logistics systems.
- Update and steward the Yosemite Operations and Program Logistics Manual and Administrative Educator Manuals.
- Address risk management concerns with clients/vendors and coordinate necessary modifications with associated staff.
- Works closely with Campus and National Director of Risk Management on a case by case basis and promotes implementation of Risk Management policies.
- Performs duties of the Administrative Educator team members when needed, including overnight and weekend coverage.
- Participate in monthly cross departmental meetings including Yosemite Management Team. Participate in monthly meetings with National and other campus Operations teams.
- Collaborate with National and other campus Operations teams annually to revise paperwork and operational systems.
- Maintain CRM systems and monitor program portals.
- Act as Rotating Manager On Call.
- Occasional weekend and night work.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- We are looking for candidates who have:2-4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's Degree
- Wilderness First Responder Certification
- Robust risk management experience and expertise
- Extremely detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, task, and time management skillsE xcellent communicator with a strong customer service orientation
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Google online tools
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and enthusiastic attitude
