A growing manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support product development through 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and BOM creation. This is a hands-on design role that will work closely with engineering teams to bring new and existing products from concept through production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys CAD design work, collaborating with engineers, and seeing their designs move into manufacturing.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Create and modify 3D models using Creo
- Generate detailed engineering drawings
- Develop and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Support new product development and engineering change activities
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on design improvements
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and product quality
- Maintain accurate product documentation and design records
What We're Looking For:
- Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Creo (required)
- Experience creating 3D CAD models and assemblies
- Knowledge and application of GD&TAbility to create engineering drawings and BOMsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred
- Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or product design environment experienceOEM or industrial product experience
- Background in agricultural, construction, recreational, consumer, or industrial products
- Experience supporting product development and engineering teams
