Steward/Dishwasher Position at The Hart and The HunterThe Steward/Dishwasher keeps our kitchen at The Hart and The Hunter clean and running smoothly, from guest dishware to cooking equipment and prep stations. You'll be an upbeat, team-focused presence that keeps the whole kitchen operating at its best. The task at hand includes: Wash, sanitize, and maintain all cooking equipment, cutlery, china, and glassware, keeping workstations properly stocked for service. Collect and store produce, proteins, and other ingredients in their proper place. Keep kitchen floors, the walk-in fridge, and all food storage areas clean and organized. Coordinate with Kitchen Management on equipment cleaning, maintenance, and the kitchen cleaning schedule. Work positively and professionally with the kitchen team to keep operations smooth and the workplace enjoyable for all.
What we're looking for
Required: A clear understanding of the role and how it fits into a smooth-running kitchen. A team player who works well with others, even under pressure. Positive, energetic, and service-oriented attitude. Physical: Ability to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift, including bending and lifting up to 40 lbs. Flexible schedule, able to work a variety of shifts.
