Company Overview: A highly respested Civil Engineering team in the Des Moines area is looking for the right Civil Engineer (EIT) for their team. Company specializes in Land Development and Master Planned Residential and Commercial Communities, and is growing within the Des Moines area.
Role Summary: The Civil Engineer will be pivotal position for the team, helping develop, design, and manage Civil Engineering efforts for Land Development and Master Planned Community projects. The ideal professional will bring some strong experience as a Civil Engineer, and will be eager to learn, grow, and continue developing as a Civil Engineer.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Analyze site data (surveys, soil tests) to develop project plans and detailed blueprints for Civil Drawings Perform feasibility studies, utility, layout, and grading designSWPPP analysis and plan preparation Estimate costs, manage budgets, schedule resources, and oversee construction to ensure projects stay on track and within budget Ensure projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and provide technical guidance to teams
Qualifications and Requirements: 1-4 years of civil engineer experience 4 year degree in a related field preferred Experience wih Land Development and Master Planned Community projects preferredEIT / FE credentials preferred Team player who is not afraid to ask questions and who wants to grow with the team Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
