Title: Robotics Operations Specialist
Compensation: $26/hr
Duration: 6 months
Location: Saginaw, Michigan Shift Times: 5:45 am - 3pm
Position Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Robotics Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operation of autonomous robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on operational role focused on monitoring robots, observing performance, reporting issues, and serving as an on-site representative for the team. This position does not involve coding, software development, robot configuration, or engineering design.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor autonomous robotic systems during daily site operations. Observe robot performance and report system behaviors, issues, or abnormalities to the Robotics team. Perform basic troubleshooting, including restarting equipment or reconnecting systems when appropriate. Escalate issues promptly and help minimize operational disruptions. Maintain accurate documentation of robot performance and incidents. Follow all site safety requirements and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics, customer service, technical support, or a similar environment preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. Self-starter with a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk extensively throughout a large manufacturing facility. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Comfortable working in a warm industrial environment. Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
