LIVE HANGER - grade 5 Apply: Cassville, MO: Full time: Posted Today: JR-2026008309 It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.*SUMMARY: The purpose of a live hanger is to discern between live and dead chickens and hang the live ones on moving shackles.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:* Be able to work in a fast paced setting hanging a live chicken weighing 2-5 pounds, on every 5th shackle* Adhere to all George’s policies & procedures and all animal welfare laws & regulations.* Must be able to stand for several hours at a time* Must be able to work in a dimly lighted work area shoulder to shoulder with other employees* Must be able to grasp a chicken at approximately waist level and hang a live chicken on a shackle at shoulder height* Must be able to discern a live chicken from a dead chickenSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* Required + none* Preferred + None*George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
